Rusty grill

Sometimes, even when pulling apart old and unused yard appliances you come across something that takes your eye from a photographic perspective. That was how I felt when I saw the sunlight reflecting vivid oranges and blues in this old BBQ grill.

The grill itself isn’t a thing of beauty, but the colours of rust have always appealed to me. Photograph taken on my Huawei Mate 10.

Custom branded T-shirt from Sticker Mule

I’ve dabbled in a couple of custom branded T-shirts for myself in the last year with varied results. My main gamble was not knowing the companies I was buying from—mostly due to me not being in the need of custom branded T-shirts too often. When I noticed that the folks at Sticker Mule now do custom branded T-shirts for under $20USD, I felt it was time to try a third provider. A provider I already knew!

My FU-Tone pickups video story

This story starts in 2018. That may seem like a long time ago—partially because it was—but when you realise that this is the second blog post I’ve added to my website this year, you’ll understand that I clearly don’t move quickly. I’m what many people may call an overthinker. This rarely results in me eventually creating anything ground breaking. It simply delays things I have a fear of finishing. Things like the video I finally created or this blog post to promote that video further. So let’s get to it!

Another 52 guitars—the summary

It was an interesting year for this series. Off to a late start, infrequent posting patterns and the challenge that was finding 52 guitars that didn’t repeat with the guitars captured the first time I wrote about wanting 52 guitars.

Still, we got to this place in the series—the summary. The collection of all 52 guitars desired in 2020. Hopefully, enjoyed and desired by you as well.
