Now for all those of people watching this sarsaparilla competition closely—lets be honest there aren't any—there may be an element of confusion right now. "Wimmers? But surely that was contender #6?" Had anyone asked me that question I would have answered with "Yes it was. And now it's back. In a glass bottle!"
I mentioned back in the article that was titled Wimmers Double Sarsaparilla—Contender #6 that there would indeed be two entries from Wimmers. Turns out I did not lie. Now it's time to find out if the way a beverage is served makes any difference at all to the flavour sensation that is sarsaparilla.
Statistically speaking—and without giving too much away before this competition comes to an end—the Wimmers from my Regular category is exactly the same as the Wimmers from the Glass Bottle category. The sugar is exactly the same. The fat content is exactly the same. It's the same drink. And they taste almost the same. As they should.
But for me, the glass bottle makes a world of difference. And a good world of difference (not like that crappy world of pain I've heard about). The glass bottle feels better in your hand and seems to keep its cool better. And I do not pretend to know why, but it makes the drink taste better. Wimmers is good. Read my article on the Wimmers in a plastic bottle to see how much I liked it. Sars in a glass can't be surpassed.
All this rhyming is making me thirsty.

"Sars in a glass can't be surpassed." That sir, is GOLD!
