Saxbys Sars—Contender #3

This time it really is tonight's contender. This is the drink I drank tonight. Not like that previous post that was clearly about the drink I drank last night. And this drink is from my highly sought after Bottled range. It's the Saxbys Sars sarsaparilla drink. It's bold enough to shorten its name and embrace the slang product name that all Aussie's love. Who wouldn't want to drink a beverage that shares its name with the Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)?

When the drink is as good as this one, I sure would. The stakes just got raised.

Surely the style rating just went up in this sarsaparilla competition? Glass bottles just look good. There's an element of class there. It might be that class and glass are so similar in their spelling. Either way, Saxbys is a good looking drink. Luckily for me, it's an even better tasting drink.

As soon as this Australian made and Australian owned product hits your lips you know it's sarsaparilla. And a damn tasty sarsaparilla too. One thing I believe this contender has going for it is the fact that it is not overly fizzy. It's clearly carbonated, but not to the degree that with every mouthful comes the ammunition you require to become a serious contender in a local belching competition.

This is a drink that I could drink a lot of and quickly. Not necessarily a good thing, but I can honestly say I don't mind. It's early days in this competition, but this drink is seriously tasty. If the remaining drinks I've collected come close to this I may find myself wanting to survive on sarsaparilla alone.

I know you need to drink water to survive as a human, but sars surely has water in it.

I am loving this competition.
